What is a Mailing List?
A mailing list is a virtual community of people who share a common interest, in this case, computer assisted scrapbooking. It's all done by e-mail but the difference is that instead of sending an e-mail to each person, you send an e-mail to a "list server" computer on the internet and the server sends the e-mail message to everyone who is a member of the list.

As for reading the messages, you have the option of have each message sent to you by e-mail, or, you can have what is called a "digest" version. With the digest version, when there are a total of 25 new messages, they are combined together and sent to you as one e-mail, or if there are less than 25 messages in one day, whatever messages there are for the day are sent to you as a digest.
