David S. Denver, CO Description: This page was done completely on the computer. The layout uses a ready-made page from Cliptures Volume 42 Birthdays. The layout program used was Micrografx Windows Draw 6. The font is DJ Fiddlestix. The photograph was scanned and imported into the program. Then the Cliptures page was imported and the photograph was positioned behind the transparent frame in the Cliptures image. Draw lets you edit vector graphics. I used this feature to remove the numbers that originally went across the top of the Cliptures page. After removing the numbers from the image, I added the "Happy Birthday Grandpa" to the top of the page using Draw's text on a curved line feature. The page was printed on glossy coated inkjet paper. |
